split-squad day since March 29, 2012, when they fell to Colorado and Arizona.
» The Indians lost 14-4 to the Brewers in their home game...RHP COREY KLUBER (0-1, 23.14) made his first start of the spring, but surrendered six earned
runs in 2.1 innings pitched (8H, 2BB, 4K)...INF MICHAEL MARTINEZ led the

» RHP CARLOS CARRASCO is slated to take the mound today in his third Cactus League start...has surrendered six runs in 3.1 innings this spring and took the
loss in Cleveland’s 16-7 defeat against Colorado on March 3 after allowing four
runs on six hits in 1.1 innings.
» Was placed on the 60-day DL on Sept. 30 and missed the entire Postseason
after taking a line drive to the hand on the second pitch of his final start (Sept. 17
vs. Detroit), which broke the fifth metacarpal on his right hand.
» Overall, Carrasco went 11-8 with a 3.32 ERA in 25 starts (146.1 innings)...at
the time of his final start, he ranked 10th in the American League in ERA, 8th in
strikeout/walk ratio (4.41) and on-base percentage allowed (.286) and 13th in
batting average against (.240).

» INF MICHAEL MARTINEZ went 3-for-3 with two doubles in Monday’s loss vs.
