The compact and rugged module features an excellent phase accuracy of the 24-bit data, and a signal-to-noise-ratio of 107 dB(A). Features yy Input module with 12 Line/ICP channels Variants yy labV12-V1 yy labV12-V2 Connections to front ends from HEAD acoustics yy HEADlab controller (HEADlab system) yy MMF III.0 (BrakeOBSERVER) yy VMA II.1 (HEAD VISOR) Connections for sensors yy Line/ICP sensors yy TEDS sensors yy Recordings with the binaural headset BHS II (via CLB I.2) yy Connecting high-impedance sensors (via SCU-V2) Functions yy 24 bit data with high phase accuracy yy DC, AC, ICP switchable yy 107 dB(A), signal-to-noise-ratio (range: 1 V) yy Sampling frequencies: 2, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 kHz -- HEADlink 1 ↔ controller: 12 channels up to 24 kHz, 6 channels up to 48 kHz, 3 channels up to 96 kHz 02.2017 D3723e8 Subject to change -- Dual-link: HEADlink 1 and HEADlink 2 ↔ controller: 12 channels up to 48 kHz, 6 channels up to 96 kHz yy Input impedance: 30.3 kΩ (labV12), 300 kΩ (labV12-V1), 1 MΩ (labV12-V2) yy Low power consumption (7.5 W) yy Electrical isolation of the labV12 inputs to the inputs of other HEADlab modules and the PC interface Filters yy Analog high-pass filters: 2.5 Hz (labV12-V1: 0.35 Hz; labV12-V2: 0.4 Hz) in AC mode, 22 Hz, switchable channel by channel Handling yy Silent (no fan), rugged design yy Integrated locking mechanism (the modules can easily be mated to a system) At the front of the modules the interfaces are summarized in two D-Sub sockets to connect the sensors via breakout cables. Connecting a labV12 module with a controller via both HEADlink interfaces simultaneously (dual-link), the available sampling rate will be doubled. The labV12 is supplemented by the variants labV12-V1 and labV12-V2 which have a higher input impedance and a lower AC cut-off frequency. It is possible to convert a labV12 mod ule into the variants labV12-V1 or labV12-V2 ex factory. Together with a controller and a power supply module up to 10 labV12 can be assembled forming a system with 120 channels, at a sampling frequency of up to 24 kHz. Via dual-link the use of 5 labV12 with 60 channels at 48 kHz is allowed. Depending on the processing power of the PC and the network utilization, larger systems with several controllers, power supply modules and labV12 modules can record up to 600 channels at 24 kHz simultaneously.
