Pokémon GO Camp Info - Phorms Frankfurt Taunus

CALLING ALL POKÉMASTERS!
The phenomenon of ‘’Pokémon Go’’ has now swept the world up in a storm. And while the
popularity has declined in this game some, it certainly still is relevant, especially with all the events
the game has going on in it these days  In case you are unfamiliar with this App, it is a game
designed to catch Pokémon (‘’Pocket Monsters’’) using a smart phone. It also requires you to WALK!!
(Gasp!, a fun video game that requires exercise?) Most of you have probably seen (or maybe even
played) this game, and can see how hugely popular it has become since it was released a last year.
Even though it has lost some steam, it still is played by millions of people around the world, and
many of our kids love playing it too! We will be using this camp to walk and play the game, as well as
various other mobile games (during breaks in Pokémon) like Clash Royale and Madden Mobile.
As this has become such a huge hit, I have decided to offer a holiday camp to our older children to
fully experience Pokémon Go with their friends and me, Mr. T. In this week of camp, our group will
be travelling into the city of Frankfurt (and surrounding regions) everyday to catch as many Pokémon
as possible, take over Gyms, and gain some serious levels in the game. This will require a lot of
walking, so make sure your kids bring good shoes! If your child plays (or wants to start playing)
Pokémon Go, this is THE camp to send them to. Also, we will be eating at restaurants every day (no 4
days of packed lunches!)
Every day will start out with watching Pokémon episodes (from episode 1!) before heading into the
city around 10:00. We’ll get lunch when we get hungry, and we’ll be back to the school around 16:45
every day, leaving enough time for one more Pokémon episode :-)
Also important to note: Since this camp is only 4 days long, the kids will get more Pokémon toys and
merchandise than before, and will have better dining options too (all money from this camp is spent
directly on your kids!!)
In order to come to this camp, ideally your child will bring:
