Directions and Parking
Directions from GSFC to UMCP:

Turn right onto 193 South, drive approximately 5 miles
Turn slight left onto Greenbelt Rd, just past the railroad flyover (follow signs to Rt. 1
South)
Turn left onto Baltimore Avenue, drive approximately 2 miles
Turn right onto Campus Drive
Turn right at the traffic circle (marked with a big "M") onto Regents Drive
Turn left at the second sign onto Stadium Drive
Immediately, turn left into Regents Drive Garage (Parking lot B) *
Turn left, and keep to the left on the same level, for the visitor parking spaces
Park, then register at the digital pay station (see below)
Exit the garage the way you came in, on the Stadium Drive side. Cross the street at the
crosswalk just uphill from the parking garage exit, and the CSS Building will be just in
front of you. Turn left, walk uphill before going in ~ 30 meters, and enter the Building’s
new wing, on your right. Rm. 2400 is located on the second floor
Parking Instructions:
(For free parking, you must obtain and use a validation code)
1. Park in any space in any pay-station controlled area; signs will indicate such areas
2. Look for your space number. This number will either be marked on the ground or on a
metal plate on the wall in front of you. Make a note of the number; you will need to enter
it at the station.
3. Locate closest pay station
4. Press [OK] button to start
5. Enter your space number
6. Enter “a” or “New Transaction”
7. Enter “e” or “More Selections”
8. Enter one of the selections, depending on how long you plan to park
9. Enter the validation code**: 08343524
10. Print and Take Receipt
* If all numbered spaces are full, proceed to Lot P, the Paint Branch Drive Visitor Lot –
just to the north of the J. H. Kim Engineering Bldg. Alternatively, proceed uphill from
the Regent’s Dr. Garage (Lot B) to Stadium Dr. Parking Garage (this is a longer distance
from CSS than Lot P).
