ummertime is when the mountain
ranges of Europe really shine. With
long daylight hours and warm sun in
which to enjoy the spectacular views, it is no
wonder walking Meccas such as Chamonix in
the French Alps attract outdoor enthusiasts
from all over the world.

From the Tatras through to the Sierra
Nevada nothing can compare to the crisp air
and activities that these magnificent
mountain ranges provide. Historically home
to farmers benefiting from solitude and lush
pastures, these mountains predominantly
attracted only the most daring climbers who
would come to tackle one of the many
mighty peaks such as the Matterhorn or
Eiger. Now, with dramatically improved
transport links, pathways, marked routes and
comfortable mountain huts these wonderful
areas are accessible to all whilst maintaining
their original rugged charm and range of
easy to technical routes.
Exodus offers a packed summer programme
of worldwide walking holidays with a
fantastic selection throughout five distinct
European mountain ranges, which have the
advantage of being only a short flight from
the UK. From the more acclaimed Pyrenees
and Alps to the lesser-known Carpathian
range, each trip is designed to show off
these spectacular landscapes in the most
enjoyable way. Whether you are an
experienced mountain walker or a complete
novice, as long as you are willing to don a pair
of walking boots these ranges are for you!
