Stewardship Message
Saint Paul gives us a wakeup call. As stewards of the light
of Christ, we are to reflect that light with the help of the
Holy Spirit. If Christ’s work has transformed and illuminated our lives, there should be a change. The light of
Christ’s active presence should be at work in us. And as
the light shines within us, we take on the properties of
that light and we shine too. We are used by God to shine
the light of Christ in the lives of others. A challenging
Lenten reflection: Is the light of Christ shining in our
hearts? Is the light of Christ reflecting out from us to We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
others?

Candidate for Confirmation
Maya Watt – Maya is the daughter of
Jason and Violeta Watt. She is a junior at
Pendleton Heights High School. Maya has
two siblings – Zach and Desire. Maya was born in Indianapolis and has visited Canada. Maya loves music
and traveling. At school, Maya is involved in Best
Buddies and theater. If nothing stood in her way she
would like to travel the world. Maya likes making
new friend and meeting different people. When
asked what she likes best about St. Thomas Maya
said “the small and close atmosphere.” If she could
cure one social problem or disease it would be lack of
inclusion for those with special needs. Her favorite
person is her grandpa. After high school graduation,
Maya plans to attend college and become a special
ed. teacher. Please keep Maya and all our Confirmation candidates in your prayers as they journey towards reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
