At Panic Point, we are committed to keeping the Haunted Forest a family friendly affair, use of foul language and behavior that does not support common family values is unacceptable. • Please Initial each point in space provided JOB DESCRIPTION:------------------------------------------------------------- General Responsibilities: • • • • • • ___ Show up when assigned to get your makeup on and help out where needed ___ Arrange transportation to and from the Panic Point each night ___ Come dressed in dark clothing, and bring appropriate attire, i.e. gloves, boots, and hats. ___ Stay at station until relieved ___ If unable to attend, scheduled workers must find a replacement (Notify Brian or Geoff w/ change) ___ Scare EVERY patron at the Haunted Forest @ Panic Point Specific Responsibilities • • • ___ Maintaining your scene’s lighting, structure and props ___ Pick up trash and put away props/electrical devices at the end of the evening ___ Make sure scene is safe & be aware of potential hazards (if something needs to be fixed or corrected let a Forest Manager or Brian or Geoff know) POLICY AND RULES:------------------------------------------------------------ Safety • • • • • ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ • ___ Staff member must sign in and sign out every evening at designated area. If a staff member fails to sign in or out an evening worked, he or she is considered absent that night. ___ All staff must remain in character - unless the patron is scared and/or needs assistance ___ Stay at scene until you are relieved (unless health issue) ___ Tone down scare of scene if “Scared Small Children” is called out by patrons and reassure anyone who is visibly or audibly terrified. Please use your best judgment. ___ Staff can bring water bottles from the concession stand to their scene each night, trash must be thrown away each night. On cold nights, it is recommended that each staff member brings a thermos for hot chocolate, provided by Panic Point. ___ Staff should eat prior work at the Haunted Forest. Concessions (from Panic Point Concession Stand only) will be sold to employees at 50% off listed price. Staff needs to exercise good judgment and protect oneself from threatening patrons (walk away) Avoid conflicts and walk away from patrons with attitudes Absolutely NO physical contact with Panic Point patrons Absolutely NO verbal abuse with Panic Point patrons Monitor safety of scene and alert a Forest Manager, Brian or Geoff if changes are needed General policies • • • • • Compensation • • Panic Point agrees to pay staff member based on the 2013 Haunted Forest Staff Compensation Package. Staff member must work all but two (2) scheduled compensation nights in order to receive compensation as laid out in the 2013 Haunted Forest Staff Compensation Package. I agree to monitor guests for safety violations and notify management as soon as possible of all incidents relating to guest problems, equipment failure, safety violations and/or injuries. I understand that my actions and presence on and off site may be viewed by the public and give the appearance that I am affiliated with The HF@PP. I understand that I have no power to bind The HF@PP or anyone else by my actions, which are made individually. I agree that the event The HF@PP in its sole discretion deems my actions as inappropriate, I will be relinquished of my duties and I will be removed from the even without notice or warning. I acknowledge that activities may occur at night and that activities may occur in a wooded area with trees, branches, roots, props, and other attributes and hazards. As an inducement to allow me to participate in this event, and for other valuable consideration which I hereby acknowledge, I agree to hold Goban Fifer, LLC, The HF@PP and all of its affiliates, and James T. Moss harmless for any damages including but not limited to property loss, and/or all personal injury, including the risk of death while participating in the haunted forest production. I fully acknowledge the risks of participating in this event and hereby forfeit my right to penalty, lawsuit, and/or legal action against the stated parties. I hereby give my consent and permission to The HF@PP to use my name or likeness, in any form and in any format, in promotional, advertising, or other materials, or for any commercial purpose.
