Bringing g together the e Sheriff’s Offfice, Fire and Public Workss Departmentts, the event fo ocused on pro oviding resou urces to help residents continue to stayy safe in San Carlos C and be e prepared in case of an em mergency. Police e Petty Theft T from Unlocked U Ve ehicles On October 1st betw ween approxximately midn night and 3:0 00 a.m., unkknown suspect(s) entered nine unlocked vehicles in tthe area of W White Oak Wa ay and Chestnu ut Street. So ome of the vehicles werre rummaged through b by the suspect(s) with nothing taken and d several oth her vehicles h had items missing. The tota al estimated value of the e loss is $2,,700. Reportss were taken n and surveilla ance is being gathered to be turned ovver to the De etective Burea au for further investigation. Homele ess Encampment Disp persal On Octo ober 3rd at ap pproximately 3 3:00 p.m., deputies respon nded to a disp persal request for a homele ess encampm ment on the 1600 block o of Industrial R Road. Deputies contacted a male suspe ect who was found to be o on probation.. The suspect admitted to being b in posssession of a B BB gun withou ut an orange ttip, as well as a methamph hetamine pipe e. The Probation department was conttacted and auth horized a hold d be placed o on the suspecct. He was arrrested and bo ooked into the Maguire Corrrectional Faciility. Commercial Burglary Between n approximately October 6 th at 5:00 p.m m. and Octob ber 7th at 8:00 0 a.m., unknown suspect(s) used an unkknown tool to o pry open tthe front door of a construc ction site on n the 1500 block of El Camino Re eal. The unkknown suspect(s) took va arious piece s of equipment including a gene erator, jackham mmer and skill saws with a an estimated value of $5,,000. A reporrt was taken an nd forwarded to the Detecttive Bureau fo or further inve estigation.
