Walkathon Update
As of today, we have surpassed our goal with over $35,000.00 in
donations! Thank you for your generous support of this exciting school
event! Please join us on May 12th for the big day!
Support Our Drama Club
St. Bernadette Drama is putting on a grand production of T he Sound of Music, May
4, 5, and 6 at Westlake Performing Arts Center!
To help support this exciting performance, we have a dinner night out planned at Moe's on Center
Ridge in Rocky River, T hursday, April 27th from 5-8pm! (see attached flyer)
Please bring the family out to dinner and make sure you BRING T HE FLIER to support Saint
Bernadette's Drama Club! You must present the flier for our drama club to receive
30 percent of the sales!
T hanks so much and we look forward to seeing you on April 27th and at the play!
An Artist in our Midst
Third grade student, Bryan Vlosich was
awarded 2nd place for his entry in the Children's
Centennial Art Contest presented by
Bricks4Kidz.
The theme was celebrating 100 years of the
Cleveland Metroparks. His artwork will he on
display in the Metroparks Zoo Exhibit Hall during
the month of April.

Lenten Retreat
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Are we listening to Jesus' call to serve others?
Our special guest, Fr. Chris, presented to our
students in the PAC for our annual "all school"
Lenten Retreat.
Fr. Chris helped us understand that when we
practice Science we are reaching out to God in
Thanksgiving. He encouraged us to keep
asking Why.
Mrs. Sullivan's 4th grade class take a break to
create some Easter magic! Great job kids!
Our 8th grade students performed Shadow
Stations for our students, parents and
teachers in the church. They did an amazing
job and everyone was very moved by their
creativity. Thank you to Miss Hickey and
Mr. Jakubczak for helping the children
prepare for this holy event.

Peter Cottontail
Mrs. Kirchner's classroom enjoyed coloring eggs
and learning about why we celebrate Easter. Her
students each were able to dip the eggs into their
favorite colors and were so very proud of the
results!
Siblings Snag Superior Ratings
Congratulations to the Clovesko children,, 4th grader, Abbey and 2nd grader, Aiden who played
their violins at aJunior Fortnightly Competition held at Cleveland State University on March 25!
Both receivedSuperior ratings! We are looking forward to hearing them at our upcoming talent show!
