Description and Operation
Glass, Window Frame and Mechanism
System Overview
Fixed Glass
The whole vehicle fixed glass consists of front
and rear windscreen and rear triangle window
glass. The whole vehicle fixed glass and body in
white, body closure member and other door
window glass and so on jointly form the closed
driving space, with transmitted ray function, and
provide the driver with sound visual feeling.
The fixed glass is sticked to the window frame on
the body with glue. The solidified glue has a
certain hardness and elasticity as well as seal
waterproof function.
To replace the window glass, firstly take down the
original glass, clear the residual glue on the
window frame, replace and re-bond new glass.
Door Window Glass
Door window glass is tempered glass, as all
tempered glasses, it has high strength and impact
resistance. In case of brekage under the
destructive impact, the glass fragment is not in
blade shape and the fragment particle size is
small.

Check and Confirmation
1.Confirm the problems proposed by the
customer and perform corresponding
inspection.
2. Observe whether there is obvious mechanical
or electrical damage.
3.Firslty solve the problem discovered before
proceeding to the next inspection.
4.If it’s unable to confirm reason from the
appearance, firstly confirm the symptom and
check it as per the Table of Symptoms.

Disassembly and Assembly
Left Front Door Switch Panel
Disassembly
1.Disconnect the negative cable of the battery.
Refer to relevant content of 414-01 Battery,
Support and Cable.
2.Disassemble the left front door switch panel
lower cover plate.
Insert a flat head screwdriver in the seam
between the switch panel lower part and lower
cover plate or the service port, penetrate the
flat head screwdriver in to jack the lower cover
plate and apply force to push the lower cover
plate out from the clamping hole.
E31501110026
3.Disassemble the left front door switch panel.
Caution: The switch panel is firmly installed,
so it’s difficult to remove the switch
panel. Improper operation may damage
the switch panel pin so that the switch
panel may be abandoned or the upper trim
panel coating surface and other surrounding parts may be scratched.
E31501110027
1 Disassembly starts with the back of the
panel, i.e. the end close to the elbow. Firstly
break off the switch panel with hands to
leave a certain gap at the back of the switch
panel, penetrate the screwdriver in it, align it
with the outside clip at the end of the panel,
and pry the clip. Loosen the outside clip at
the end of the panel, further penetrate the
screwdriver in the inside clip at the end and
push the clip out from the snap joint, so as
to make the clip at the end of the switch
panel completely separate from the snap
joint.
2.Insert the screwdriver in the outside clip at
the middle of the panel and apply force to
pry up the clip. Lossen the outside clip at
the middle of the panel, insert the screwLandwind X5

driver in and align it with the inside clip at
the middle and pry up the clip with the
screw driver. And then, right hand pushes
tightly the imitation leather trim plate, and
left hand uplifts the panel so as to make the
clip at the middle of the panel completely
separate from the snap joint.
