Geographic Range Range Description: The type locality for this species is in the Sogeri plateau 8km north and 27km east of Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea, at 460m asl. The limits of its distribution are not well understood. Current Population Trend: Unknown Habitat and Ecology (see Appendix for additional information) This is a very adaptable species that calls from concealed positions (possibly in holes) in mowed lawns, plantations, and in closed-canopy rainforest. It breeds by direct development. Systems: Terrestrial Threats Since it appears to be able to withstand severe habitat disturbance, it is probably not facing any serious threats. Conservation Actions It possibly occurs in Varirata National Park.
