Welcome to the December Newsletter - Season’s greetings and warm
wishes for a happy new year!
They say “time flies when you are having fun”. Now that we are approaching the end of 2015, we would like to thank you
for yet another productive and successful year with ICAS. We trust that ICAS has aided and enabled you to better
understand and enhance your students’ progress. Congratulations on all your hard work in guiding and striving for the
achievements of your students in different aspects of learning. During this holiday season, we at EAA wish you a
wonderful holiday filled with joy and happiness. Merry Christmas and let’s wave goodbye to 2015. We look forward to
seeing you again in 2016!
2015 ICAS Medal Presentation Ceremonies
To reward and recognise the best and brightest students in the ICAS tests across all 6 subjects– Science, Mathematics,
Digital Technologies, English, Writing and Spelling, the annual ICAS Medal Presentation Ceremonies are held across
different states in Australia and New Zealand for invited students, teachers and parents.
This year 716 (including one triple medal winner and 38 dual medal winners) students from Australia and 115 (including
one quadruple medal winner and two dual medal winners) students from New Zealand out of more than 1.1 million entries
were rewarded for their exceptional results. Congratulations, and we are delighted to know that many medal winners are
also medalists from previous years who continue to attain great results!
