DATES TO KNOW
April 1—entry deadline!
April 11—up to 15 FINALISTS will be announced
via email and museum website
April 22 @ 6pm—FINALISTS will read before a
panel of judges and audience at the museum,
and four to six WINNERS will be announced!
May 14 @ 10am—poetry workshop for the
WINNERS with professional poets/mentors
August 15—performance workshop for the
WINNERS in preparation for readings
*August 17—WINNERS read poems on Closing
Night of the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival
(part of CT Young Poets Day)
WHO MAY ENTER
Connecticut high school-age students. Previous
winners may not enter again.
ENTRY DEADLINE
Entries must be postmarked or emailed no later
than Friday, APRIL 1, 2016.
HOW TO ENTER
Follow submission guidelines, complete
competition entry form and photo release
form. Mail completed forms and poems to:
