When you have chronic kidney disease (CKD), it’s important to pay careful attention to your diet and limit your maximum daily intake for the following: • Sodium: 2000 mg per day • Phosphorus: 1000 mg per day Here’s a general list of foods that are good to choose or limit for a kidney-friendly diet.
