This Guide will give you specific information about our services and facilities.
We can provide you with:

Activities for your family and friends while they enjoy an extended visit
at Snow Mountain Ranch include horseback riding, swimming, hiking,
snowshoeing, mountain biking, volleyball, cross-country skiing,
family programs, miniature golf, and more.

Mountain Top Toast
Capacity: 150
Available at Columbine Point only, this option is available
to couples for an intimate post-ceremony toast. This is not
intended to replace your traditional reception. The toast is
set up in our small gazebo and includes two serving tables,
table linens, decorations, up to 150 champagne glasses,
serving platters, and clean-up. Mountaintop toasts must
be held within the time slot(s) you have reserved at
Columbine Point.

Wildflower Outdoor Chapel [2]

Wooden bench seating and unique teepee-style arch.
Rental includes a two hour block of time (starting on the

Rowley Homestead [3]**
Capacity: 150
Secluded, quaint, and set on a historic homestead site
among cabins, a barn, and windmill. This is also a great
reception site. Rental includes a two hour block of time
(starting on the hour) to decorate, take pictures, and
remove items.

**Does not include chairs for ceremony. White resin chairs available for
rental from Snow Mountain Ranch upon request, dependant upon
availability.

Whispering Pines Chapel [1]**

Capacity: varies upon location
Warm mountain ambience enhanced by an exposed pine
beam ceiling and mountain motif stained glass. Unique
octagonal shape. Rental includes a four hour block of time
to decorate, take pictures, and remove items.
Choose a site at Snow Mountain Ranch that is special to
you. Subject to approval.

Just Ranch [4]
Capacity: 150***
**Can be booked as a back-up site for $150 for a two hour block of time as
your outdoor ceremony site. Check for availability.
Upper Caudill Center [2]
Capacity: 50
Intimate setting for a small ceremony. Stone fireplace and
grand piano in the room. Rental includes a four hour block
of time to decorate, take pictures, and remove items.

Set on a historic ranch among rustic barns near a
mountain stream with an open view to the Continental
Divide. Several different backdrops available. Rental
includes a two hour block of time (starting on the hour) to
decorate, take pictures, and remove items.

Music
A grand piano is available in Whispering Pines Chapel and the Upper Caudill Center. Instrumental music such as guitar,
violin, flute or bagpipe are welcomed at all outdoor ceremony sites. You will need to arrange your own musicians, soloist
or special vocal music. There is no electricity available at any of our outdoor ceremony sites.

Inside this location you’ll find wood floors and chandeliers.
The outside deck provides a beautiful view of the
Pole Creek Valley and the Continental Divide. The Craft
Shop,** located on the lower level, may be reserved
for your younger guests and adult supervisors. This
location requires the use of Snow Mountain Ranch
catering services.
This room is located off the main dining hall in the
Schlessman Commons building. Exposed wood beams
and lower ceilings lend a warm intimate atmosphere
while windows reveal a spectacular mountain view.

Located amongst the family reunion cabins, this intimate
space provides a beautiful view of the Continental Divide.
A sink and refrigerator are handy for your caterer. This is
a great option for small receptions or rehearsal dinners.

Indian Peaks Tent Site [1]

Mountain Air Cookout Shelter
Capacity: 150**
Located close to our newest lodge and convenient for
guests, this tent site has plenty of room for your tent.
Includes access to Indian Peaks Lodge indoor restrooms.
Metal chairs and tables are included in rate. Tent rental
not included.
This long wooden pavilion with half walls and picnic tables
has beautiful views of the Continental Divide. This site
is perfect for an informal wedding reception or a casual
rehearsal dinner. A nearby swing set and volleyball court
add a fun element. Picnic tables may be replaced with
chairs and tables for an additional charge.

To enjoy western character and history, bring your
own rented tent** to this rustic homestead site set amongst
historic cabins and barns. Built in the early 1900s,
the Homestead is the perfect setting for a country
rustic wedding and intimate ceremony with your family
and friends.
Rate: $ 950 (9 – 11 pm)
** Tent set-up can be scheduled one day prior to your reception based on
availability. Tent and items must be removed by 12 pm the day following
your event.

What You Provide
Your site is available from
9 am – 11 pm the day of your
reception. Planning in advance will
help relieve stress on your wedding
day. We can help you with ideas
for setting up your site. Two weeks
prior to your reception, you should
complete the Reception Layout
Form you received from the Special
Events Associate.
Wine, beer and liquor are allowed
on our property as long as you do
not take it out of your immediate
reception and/or accommodations
and do not disturb other guests.
Please note that our staff may
NOT serve or open any alcoholic
beverages.
Your site rate includes:
•Set-up and take down of tables and
chairs when rented through Snow
Mountain Ranch
•Trash removal and general clean-up Please note that quiet hours at Snow
Mountain Ranch begin at 10 pm, so
all music at outdoor reception sites
must be turned off at this time.
The wedding couple will need
to provide the following for the
reception:
•All decorations (to be set-up and
taken down by the wedding party)
•Table linens for all tables (except
serving tables if you reserved the
Mountain Top Toast)
•Special colored lighting (optional)

Lodging
One of the best features of Snow Mountain Ranch is the on-site guest lodging.
We offer hotel-style lodge rooms, cabins, seasonal campsites, yurts
and reunion cabins for your guests to reserve.*
So many lodging options!
One of the best things about Snow Mountain Ranch is our on-site lodging. We offer hotel-style lodge rooms,
reunion cabins, family cabins, yurts and seasonal campsites. Please keep in mind that we have regular, value and
super value rates. Lodging rates and availability vary according to date and season, your flexibility can help in
reserving the perfect lodging, ceremony and reception sites. We can block 20 lodge rooms under your wedding at
no cost (based on availability). While our two to five bedroom cabins may be available for your wedding guests,
we cannot guarantee the availability of our smaller cabins.
Smaller family cabin booking will become available on April 2, 2014 and can be reserved online at
ymcarockies.org or by calling Snow Mountain Ranch reservations at 888-613 -9622. These cabins are booked on
a priority system which allows cabin donors and YMCA of the Rockies members to reserve first.
Our reunion cabins sleep up to 40 guests and can be booked through your Special Events Associate
one year in advance for winter, two years in advance for summer, and can be blocked,
along with lodge rooms and campsites, for your wedding guests.

Wedding Party & Family Activities
We encourage your family and friends to enjoy their time at Snow Mountain Ranch by participating in our many
recreational activities and programs. We provide programming that brings you, your wedding party and family
together for fun and bonding at this exciting time of celebration. Complimentary activities include swimming,
roller skating, miniature golf and hiking that your guests can enjoy during their stay.
To arrange private activities for your wedding guests, please speak to your Special Events Associate.
We can arrange archery, canoeing, indoor climbing, a high challenge course, and zip lining.

pastoral services to conduct your
wedding ceremony. Chaplain Steve
Peterson will work with you to design
a ceremony, from traditional to
contemporary, that fits your needs.

Horse-drawn Carriage
& Sleigh Rides
Choose to arrive and depart in style!
Sombrero Stables, located on-site at
Snow Mountain Ranch, has a horsedrawn carriage you may reserve for
your ceremony! This elegant carriage
has a plush velvet interior and is
pulled by a team of white horses—
the photo opportunities are fantastic!
Wagon and hayrides can be arranged
to transport guests to and from the
ceremony to your reception.

Below is a list of frequently asked questions that many of our wedding planners have asked us.
We hope you find this helpful in the planning of your special day!
Q:How do I reserve sites at Snow
Mountain Ranch?
A: Here are three easy steps!
1. If practical, schedule a facility
tour and meeting to discuss your
wedding with the Special Events
Associate
2.Submit the Wedding
Information Sheet with
your contact information
and preferred ceremony and
reception sites. At this time, also
submit the Lodging Request
Form. Your wedding and
lodging are not confirmed until
you receive confirmation from
Snow Mountain Ranch.
3.Upon confirmation of wedding
and lodging availability, we will
send you a Lodging Agreement
and Wedding Agreement with
deposits required. You have two
weeks to sign these agreements
and pay the deposits.
Q:What is your cancellation policy?
A: Deposits are non-refundable if
cancellation occurs within six
months of the scheduled date. Please read through your Wedding
and Lodging Agreements carefully
for specific cancellation policies
and penalties.
Q:When is the final balance due?
A: The balance of services and facility
fees are due two weeks prior to the
wedding date.
Q:Is there an additional cost to
change the set-up of a site?
A: There is an additional fee of $150
for changing the set-up of any site
the same day.
Q:Does Snow Mountain Ranch offer
off-peak rates?
A: We do! For select sites from mid
October through mid May. Please
ask our Special Events Associate
for details and pricing.
Q:Where do I send my deposit and
signed Agreements?
Q: Can I set up my reception site the
night before?
A: Checks should be made payable
to YMCA of the Rockies. Credit
card payment can be taken over
the phone. Signed documents and

Q:What can I expect from the Special
Events Associate?
