violence. Executive Director of a gender-sensitive centre for victims of violence against women and
domestic violence in Vienna, serving about 6 000 survivors a year. Contributions to the development
of laws and policy measures in Austria and internationally. Member of the Council of Europe Task
Force to Combat Violence against Women 2006–2008 and of the Ad Hoc Committee on Preventing
and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (CAHVIO) 2008–2010.
