After 30 years in the fitness arena, I have adopted a “real world” approach to fitness, both
for myself and for clients. We all lead busy lives, balancing work, family and personal responsibilities. In addition, we all face dietary challenges in our daily eating habits. I like
to use a realistic approach when training clients, teaching them to incorporate physical activity and healthy eating into their daily lives. I have developed a “recipe for lasting fitness”: exercise needs to be safe, enjoyable and effective. When all three of these key ingredients are present, clients exercise regularly, for a lifetime. I custom-design workouts

makes staying fit harder! Most of us drive instead of walk. We watch television at night
or sit in front of a computer instead of strolling around the neighborhood or participating in
group sports. We type e-mails and text messages to each other instead of writing letters
by hand. Almost everything we do nowadays takes less physical effort because of technology, but we need physical activity to be healthy. My job is to help you put that activity

family. As the mom of 3 boys, I understand the need to be realistic and to have a sense of
