HERITAGE HAUS: All Day Kids can come guess the amount of
candy pieces in a jar. We will pick a winner at 3pm both Saturday
and Sunday. Whoever is closest will win a giant sucker!

OLD CREAMERY THEATRE: 10am “The Elves and The Shoemaker”
Come celebrate the holiday season as a classic tale gets a comic
spin. When the kindly old shoemaker can’t pay his rent, it’s elves to
the rescue! Rated G. Tickets $10 per person.
SCHANZ FURNITURE & REFINISHING SHOP, SOUTH AMANA:
10am-4pm Children can make a wooden tree ornament for $2.
OX YOKE INN: 11am-4pm Kids and “Big” Kids decorate your
own Christmas Cookie. Free will donation-All proceeds go to Safe
Haven of Iowa County (animal shelter).
OX YOKE INN: 11am-4pm Face painting by Glitz & Glam.
AMANA WOOLEN MILL: 1-3pm Free kids activity - 3-D ornament
to decorate or construct a snowman with discs.

This exhibit, created especially for Prelude to Christmas,
transforms the museum auditorium into an old
fashioned Christmas room. It portrays Christmas in
Communal Amana as it would have been celebrated
over 100 years ago. Includes pyramids (one almost 200
years old!) decorations, many historical photos,
and old Christmas cards.

Amana Church in Amana. Christmas crafts, holiday items, gifts,
needlework, wood crafts and home baked goods, jams, and jelly
preserves. Proceeds benefit the Amana Church’s youth ministry.
AMANA FURNITURE SHOP: 1pm and 3pm Guided Workshop
Tours—Take a guided tour of our workshop and get a closer look at
how we handcraft Amana furniture and clocks. Tours begin at 1:00
