POWER

The Mind Power of Power is located at the root of the tongue,
near the thyroid gland. Catherine Ponder, in her book, The Secrets
of the Ages relates an Asian fable that describes the ancients trying
to decide where to hide all the power of the Universe so that human
beings won’t find it and use it destructively. They consider hiding it
in the highest mountain, the depths of the sea and the middle of the
earth. Each location is dismissed as they realize that humans will
eventually explore all these places. Finally, the wisest ancient one
says, “I know! Let’s hide the great power of the Universe within
humans themselves. They’ll never think to look for it there!”

Power is dominion, mastery, supreme authority over yourself. The
horse is often considered a symbol of Power. We have innate power
over the forces of our mind and power over all ideas. The Spirit of
God Within is ignited at your first breath. You have dominion over
your own emotions, passions and Thoughts, Words and Actions.
Power is essential for spiritual development. We are the ONLY
Authority in our lives, therefore no one else has that authority. This
is important for us to understand and remember. When we speak,
we are using the Mind Power of Power.
POWER
The throat controls all the vibratory energies of the body. Every
word has a specific character and sound. Every cell of the body is
alive and has intelligence. Each cell receives the vibration of the
spoken sound and manifests that sound. Spoken words awaken our
Divine Authority. When the voice unites with the life of the Soul, it
takes on a sweetness and depth that people can feel and remember.
A voice that is metallic, harsh or superficial lacks this union. What
people remember about those who speak like this is an unpleasant
experience. Every word that you utter makes an imprint in the
Astral and Etheric Worlds and opens the door between the formless
and formed.
Substance is the Physical World in which we move and live. Words
become living identities or substance and are everlasting. Spiritual
dominion is established when we understand wise words. The
Mind Powers of Will and Power go hand in hand. When we use
wise words, we can create change with ease. This produces
Happiness, Health and Wealth in our lives.
Power swings open all the doors of the mind. When you feel vital
and energetic, your voice is strong, vibrant and brilliant. When you
are sorrowful, afraid and weak, your voice is weak. Through the
development of Power we master all the laws of creation. The
atmosphere is filled with ideas that are in harmony with Divine
Mind. “Inharmony” is discord. When we’re conscious of the words
that we speak, we overcome great multitudes of ideas that are
inharmonious. Let’s use this monthly theme as a reminder to be
aware and careful in our choice of words.
