Rebecca hopes to move up to Performing Choir when she gets older.
A Year 9 student at Abbotsleigh School for Girls in Wahroonga, this will be her first tour with the group.
During the tour the girls will travel 49,700km and perform 440 songs in more than 20 performances.
Highlight performances will include an appearance at Disneyland Paris and a UNICEF Fundraising Concert in
Barcelona.
The trip will be the choir’s 17th international tour in its 30-year history. The choir was selected by Qantas to
represent the “Spirit of Australia” in the hugely successful I Still Call Australia Home advertising campaigns.
The choir was founded in 1984 by Judith Curphey OAM and now involves more than 4700 girls across
Australia.
