ThepurposeoftheActOneCulturePassistoprovideopportunitiesforeveryoneinourstatetohaveaccessto
theartsregardlessofincomeoreconomicability.
HowDoestheActOneCulturePassWork?
Museums&CulturalAttractions–Partnerartsorganizationsagreetoprovideparticipatinglibrariesfivepasses
perweek.Librarycardholderscancheckoutapass,whichisgoodforsevendaysaftercheckoutfortwofree
admissionstothemuseum/culturalattractions.Passesareavailableonafirst-come,first-servedbasisandwill
returntocirculationsevendaysaftertheyarecheckedout.LibrarycardholderstakethecardfromtheActOne
CulturePassdisplaytothecirculationdesktocheckout.TheLibrarycardholderwillreceiveareceiptfromthe
libraryshowingthattheyhavecheckedoutaCulturePasstoaspecificmuseum/culturalattraction.Thelibrary
cardholdertakesthisreceipttothemuseum/culturalattractionandturnsitinattheadmissionsdesk,then
receivesadmissionforuptotwopeopletothevenueforthatdayonly.
ArtsPerformances–ActOneCulturePassesforartsperformanceswillbemadeavailableperiodically
throughouttheyear.Passesforperformancesareavailableapproximatelytwoweekspriortotheperformance
dayandareavailableonafirst-come,first-servedbasis.LibrarycardholderstakethecardfromtheActOne
CulturePassdisplaytothecirculationdesktocheckout.TheLibrarycardholderwillreceiveavoucherfortheir
ticketswithinstructionshowtoredeemtheirvouchertoreceivetwofreeticketstoaspecificperformance.The
voucherwillincludeareferencecode,whichtheymustprovidewhentheycalltoreservetheirtickets.
Additionally,thevouchermustbeturnedinatthevenue’sboxofficewhentheticketsarepickedup.

InJanuary2015,theActOneCulturePassexpandedtotheSedonaPublicLibrarywithsevennewarts

InOctober2015,thePimaCountyPublicLibrarylaunchedtheActOneCulturePassattheJoelD.Valdez
MainLibrary,witheightadditionallibrariesofferingthepassesbyNovember15,2015.Fivecultural
