Swimming Lessons: Learn to Swim Lessons run from Monday 2nd November - Saturday
12th December 2015, a 6 week block. Outside of these dates Open Sessions will run instead.
Activity Programme
OTAGO: A strength and balance exercise programme to reduce falls in frailer older people. At
the end of the session you will be able to join us for a little chat over a cup of tea!
METAFIT: A 30 minute workout that needs no equipment, creates metabolic disturbance,
burns fat and has a great pumping sound-track.
KETTLEBELLS: The super-thick handles challenge your grip and the position of the weight in
relation to the handle works your core extra hard and burns more calories.
YOGA:
The practice of yoga helps to co-ordinate the breath, mind and body to
encourage balance, both internally and externally and promote feelings of relaxation and ease.
FLEXIFIT: This is a gentle to moderate class promoting spinal health, muscle mobility and
joint stability. It incorporates moves based on Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and Balance.
BOXERCISE: This is a high energy class that uses the whole body: movement, agility and
momentum. You will learn different punches and movement using focus pads.
BODY TONE: Challenge your whole body with this high energy comb class. Aerobic interval
training together with body conditioning and ultimate abs. All fitness levels.
PILATES: Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole
body to improve balance, muscle-strength, flexibility and posture; suitable for all.
BOUNCY CASTLE: Bouncy Castle sessions take place on Saturdays 11.00-11.45 for children
up to 12 years. No need to book just come along and have some fun.
INDOOR CYCLING: An intense form of aerobic exercise performed on stationary bikes and led
by an instructor who sets the constantly varying pace.
SPIN FIT: 30minutes of Indoor Cycling and 20minutes of body conditioning.

CX WORKS: Exercising muscles around the core, CXWORX™ provides the vital ingredient for a
stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to
your favourite sports - it’s the glue that holds everything together.
Family Sessions- The admissions policy will be relaxed to allow any two under 8’s to be accompanied by a responsible adult on a ratio of 1 adult: 2 children. The deep end of the pool will be roped
off. ~ Family Sessions are only for families that require the 1 adult: 2 under 8’s ratio.
CIRCUITS: If you’re looking for a class to challenge you, work your whole body, help you lose
Admissions Policy– Children aged 0,1,2 or 3 must be accompanied by an adult on a 1 to 1 basis.
Children aged 4,5,6 and 7 must be accompanied by an adult on a ratio of 1 Adult: 2 children.
