Day One – Wednesday - September 24th - Badlands National Park - Wall Drugs
Departure schedule to be announced - coffee, juice, and muffins will be served on the motorcoach this morning.
Travel breaks are scheduled during the day. Lunch is on your own today at one of our travel breaks.
Stop at Wall Drugs to browse the stores and have dinner on your own. Check into the Deadwood Gulch Resort.
Day Two - Thursday - September 25th - Crazv Horse Monument - Black Hills Central Railroad
Continental breakfast is included at the hotel before we head out this morning.
Crazy Horse Monument - The face of Lakota leader, Crazy Horse, is emerging as the fifth granite face in the Black
Hills on the world's largest mountain carving.
Lunch is on your own at Crazy Horse before we move on to our next stop.
Black Hills Central Railroad - 1880 Train, with old-time steam locomotives and vintage cars. Our travels will take us
back in time and through the Black Hills back country.
Hotel accommodations and dinner is included this evening.
Day Three – Friday - September 26th – Buffalo Roundup - Chuck Wagon Lunch - Mount Rushmore
We will take breakfast with us on the bus. Each fall the wild west returns to Custer State Park during the Annual
Buffalo Roundup. Park staff, cowboys and cowgirls saddle up to move the park's 1,450 bison to the buffalo corrals.
The roundup serves several purposes. The first is to move the entire herd into a system of corrals along the Wildlife
Loop Road. Once in the corrals, the animals are sorted. Most are released back into the park, while others remain in
the corrals until the auction in November. All calves are branded and the female calves are vaccinated for brucellosis.
Chuck Wagon Lunch is included after the Roundup.
We will do a driving tour of Custer State Park after lunch.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial - The massive granite sculpture memorializes four presidents: Washington,
Jefferson, Lincoln, & Theodore Roosevelt.
Hotel accommodations and dinner is included this evening.

Day Four - Saturday - September 27th - Start our Journey home
Continental breakfast is included at the hotel before we check out and head for home.
Drive through the Badlands National Park - a region of savage erosion, where 35 million years of wind and water
have created 244,000 acres of strange & beautiful landscape.
Lunch is on your own at one of our travel breaks today.
