I hope this letter finds you in good health. My name is Jane Dodenhoff, and I am a business
executive at Finish Acres Ketchup Empire (FAKE). I am writing about the contract my company
signed with Costco Wholesale on January 21, 2016. There is an issue that has arisen with
payment for the most recent shipment of FAKE ketchup.
While the contract explicitly states that payment for each delivery of FAKE ketchup will be
received no later than three business days after the delivery has been received by Costco
Wholesale; however the delivery was signed for on June 20, 2016, and my company has not been
compensated to date. I have attempted to contact the head of finances at Costco Wholesale via
email and telephone, but have not received any reply, so I am now contacting you.

My company does not wish to sue Costco Wholesale if it is possible to resolve this conflict
outside of the courtroom; however, we will if payment is not received within the next the
business cycle. Costco Wholesale will not receive another shipment of FAKE ketchup until
FAKE has been compensated. I have enclosed a copy of signed delivery form and a bill showing
the amount owed to FAKE by Costco Wholesale.
