“We have a very large client with significant assets held with us but also
held at other custodians. In addition, there are many privately held
businesses, trusts, real estate, alternative assets, and a family partnership, and his need was to be able to see them all in one place, so he
could keep track of them,” Sells explained. “However, when we went to
look for a technology to solve this for us, we did not find many options
and were forced to often manually drop statements into spreadsheets,
creating a large manual task that was absorbing a lot of our human capital resources.”
