BUT-sometimes ideas get ‘lost in translation’ from one language to another. AND- sometimes you need to have a deep understanding of other parts of the culture, to be able to understand a single story. Origins of First Peoples The Land Bridge Theory Origins of First Peoples Some scientists believe that a long time ago, there was a land bridge between northern Asia and North America. This land is now underwater. It is called The Bering Strait today.
