Shirley’s Cakes understands that every special occasion is one to enjoy, remember and look
back on. From a Birthday, Wedding, Retirement, or other Celebration Cake will be the
centrepiece of many photos and videos and of course, as well as look perfect, it has to taste
perfect too!

Celebration Cake Prices are for an iced cake with ribbon and crimping and a personalised
message. For more complex designs a supplement of £5 is added.

Wedding and Wedding Tier Cakes: designs, flavours and

Our Wedding Cakes are available in a choice of 4 flavours and a combination of any of
these is also available. We also cater for special dietary needs i.e. gluten free.

Notice required for your bespoke Wedding Cake
We prefer around 3 months’ notice for Wedding Cakes and require a 25% deposit when
placing an order – this is non-refundable. This will secure the date and cover initial design
fees.
Cleared payment of the entire balance must be received within 4 weeks of the event in order
for work on your cake to be completed.
In the event of non-payment of the balance, we reserve the right to consider the order
cancelled and the deposit forfeited. Cake orders which are cancelled at short notice (within
one month of the event date) will still be charged for in full, as we are rarely able to rebook
dates at such short notice.
If we accept a late booking within 4 weeks of the wedding then the full amount will be
payable on order.
Delivery of your Celebration and Wedding

Cake prices include local delivery within a 5 mile radius of where we are in Bury
to areas of Lancashire and Greater Manchester (so for example areas such as
Rochdale, Bolton and Rossendale)
Beyond 5 miles a delivery fee is charged at £0.20 per mile
The cost includes assembly at the venue but does not include the hire of cake stands
etc.; assembly – especially of tiered cakes – is very important to get the right look for
your special cake and we would encourage you to allow us to do the job for you!
The hire of cake stands start from £15 per day with a refundable deposit from
£40; this will be returned providing the hire items are returned on time and in good
condition
Of course, you are also welcome to pick up your cake yourself, from Number Ten
Coffee Shop in Bury.
