Your skin or Integumentary system is
the largest and heaviest organ of the
body making up approximately 16
percent of your entire body weight.
It is comprised of seven layers of flat
stacked cells, the thinnest being the
eyelids and the thickest found on the
heel’s sole. In a month’s time, your skin
sheds an entire new layer as older cells
on the top layer (stratum corneum)
die and fall off. This major sensory
organ wraps around the body serving
many important purposes including
protecting internal organs from harmful
microbial attacks, physical injuries and
infectious diseases. Though it is usually
soft, it is designed to withstand hot and
cold environmental changes as well
as protecting against dangerous solar
radiation.
Of its two main layers, epidermis and
dermis; the epidermis, or outer layer
of skin contains several sub-layers of
cells that are constantly dividing and
eventually replacing outer layers. In
this process, they are transformed into a
fibrous structural protein called keratin
which is also the key building blocks for
the hair and nails. This process normally
takes three to four weeks. The dermis
is firmly attached to the epidermis by
finger-like bulges fitting tightly into
the sockets of the epidermis. The
dermis consists of collagen and elastin
fibers producing the skins elasticity.
Also imbedded in this layer of the
skin are hair follicles, blood vessels,
and between 2-5 million sweat and
sebaceous glands.

The lowest layer of the dermis, or
hypodermis, is where body fat and
special cells, known as melanocytes
are found. Melanin determines the
pigmentation of the skin which is
formed within the melanocytes. Melanin
is also found in the hair and in the iris
of the eyes. Every human being has the
same number of melanocytes regardless
of their skin color, but the amount of
melanin produced varies by different
races and ethnic backgrounds. The
melanocytes in darker skinned people
are larger and produce more melanin
pigmentation.
In addition to a healthy diet, exercise,
stress management and avoiding
smoking, Inno-Vita™ has developed
new skin formula which can be added
to any skin care regimen. Redoccin™
is designed to help the body maintain
healthy skin color and sustain its
elasticity. Lengthy clinical studies
confirm Redoccin™ provides a preserving
effect to both layers of the skin enabling
them to function better.
The blood vessels in the dermis remain
within the layer so oxygen and nutrients
are properly dispersed into the skin.
The nerve endings also reside in the
Sweat pore
dermis layer collecting the sensations of
Sweat gland
the body such as temperature,
pressure and pain where
Sebaceous gland
these signals are sent
to the brain through
Epidermis
the body’s nerve
network.

• L-Glutathione
Glutathione (GSH, also called
L-Glutathione) is a tripeptide
comprising of three amino acids,
cysteine, glycine and glutamic acid
which are linked together by peptide
bonds. Theoretically, Glutathione it is
not an essential nutrient since the body
has the ability to synthesize it naturally
from these amino acids. However,
as our bodies age into the early
twenties, this synthesis declines, further
accelerating the aging process. Clinical
benefits of glutathione have been long
recognized for its strong antioxidant
properties. Glutathione is a key vehicle
which transports free amino acids into
the cells so amino acids can be utilized
properly and act as tissue building
blocks.
Since most of us are living in the
industrialized world, our bodies
are almost always exposed to
environmental stresses including
many chemical toxins, pollutants,
pathogens and various types of
radiation. Glutathione is very effective
in blocking these harmful threats from
within the body. It is beneficial for the
skin to constantly to remove these
toxins before they start damaging the
internal organs which leads to costly
health complications. Glutathione
is a major component in Inno-Vita’s
Redoccin™ and when taken properly, will
help protect and remove environmental
stresses keeping the skin youthful and
healthy.
Inno-Vita’s Redoccin™ has a unique
effect upon the body for those who
desire to have fairer and lighter skin.
As previously explained, melanin
is the skins pigmentation formed
by melanocytes. Technically, there
are two different types of melanin,
eumelanin which is a black-brown
pigment and pheomelanin, a yellowred pigment. In the melanocytes, the
amino acid tyrosine is first converted
to dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) by
an enzyme called tyrosinase. DOPA is
then converted to dopaquinone which
is a precursor of eumelanin, a darker
pigment. During this process, if enough
glutathione is available in the body,
the glutathione inhibits this conversion
process and turns dopaquinone
into phaepmelanin, a light-colored
pigment. In certain dosages, InnoVita’s Redoccin™ which is formulated
with reduced glutathione, enables the
body to more effectively be absorbed
which lightens the skin and removes
impurities. In the right dosages, this
effect is noticeable within a four week
time period.
Key
Features
• Nourishes the skin
• Delays premature aging/wrinkling
• Reduces/prevents aging brown spots
• Gives skin a healthy glow
• Prevents & removes pimple marks
• Enhances healing of wounds
• Not just for women
• Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a very important nutrient for
skin health. Clinical studies have shown
that vitamin C helps the body synthesize
more glutathione increasing the blood
glutathione levels by an additional
50%. Other studies have indicated that
glutathione is too large of a molecule
prohibiting it from passing through the
intestine into cellular levels. However
with the aid of vitamin C, glutathione is
able to penetrate the cellular membrane
and enter into the cells. To further
maximize the effectiveness of Redoccin™,
Inno-Vita’s C-Comp is an excellent
complement.
• Alpha-Lipoic Acid
As previously explained, we tend to lose
our capability of naturally synthesizing
glutathione as we age. Scientific studies
have shown that alpha-lipoic Acid can
reverse the age-related loss of the body’s
own glutathione synthesis. Various
studies conducted with alpha-lipoic
acid have demonstrated a remarkable
increased level of body’s own glutathione
concentration.
• N-Acetyl Cysteine
As the body is encouraged to produce
its own glutathione, it also requires more
cysteine. Cysteine is a building block of
the glutathione synthesis.
• Proline and Glycine
Collagen is a structural matrix for the
fibrous tissues in the body including
the skin. Collagen holds the skin
cells together and helps the skin look
smoother and younger. This collagen
is made out of the amino acids, proline
and glycine which are also found in
Redoccin™ in order to help body build
more collagen.
• Leucine
Studies have shown that the amino acid
leucine has a beneficial effect on aged
skin cells. It is also an important nutrient
for the birth and maturity process of skin
cells as well as helping the body remove
fine lines and sagging skin. Leucine’s
effects on the body includes tightening
of the skin and enhancing its elasticity.
Leucine also helps repair damaged cells
and promotes quicker healing of the
skin.
• Bringaraj & Burdock
Bringaraj (Eclipta alba) has been used for
hundreds of years in Ayurvedic remedies
for blemished skin. This nutritive herb
is very useful for inflammatory skin
problems and has garnered a reputation
as a highly valued beauty herb. Burdock
(Arctium lappa) has also been used
for centuries for its phytochemical
detoxifying effect to treat skin disorders
including psoriasis, eczema and acne.
• Hypothalamus FormCode™
The skin health is influenced by various
hormones and their endocrine organs
(i.e. puberty, acne). But it is the most
sensitive to Corticotropin-releasing
hormones (CRH) released from the
hypothalamus. Inno-Vita’s hypothalamus
FormCode™ is added to help body
optimize hypothalamus functions.
• NOTE
Melanin lightening effect
It is always best to consult with your
natural healthcare practitioners before
taking Inno-Vita products such as
Redoccin™. Glutathione as a supplement
is not normally recommended If you are
taking chemotherapeutic or antipsychotic
drugs. Avoid too much sun and harmful
UV rays by wearing sunblock. Avoid
drinking or smoking as doing so will
deplete the glutathione levels in the body.
