Description: What makes a monster a monster? Why were the Greek
gods so petty? What exactly do you have to do to be a hero? And perhaps
most importantly, why were ancient human beings so obsessed with
magical apples? These are just a few of the questions we will consider in
this course. Students will study Greek mythology, language and theatre, in
an active, playful environment. With games, sports, and art, students will
explore some of the foundational myths of western culture.
