BY A PARTY ZONE WITH A DJ, SPONSOR BOOTHS, PRIZES,
COLOR CANNONS, ETC.
The Graffiti/Color Run will light up the streets of Westhaven and everyone is
guaranteed to have glowing reviews of the event! The 5K course is all about
relaxing and having a great time with friends and family and not so much
about busting out a five-minute mile. Feel free to run, walk, or dance your
way through the course filled with color craziness!
There are only two rules:
1. Get drenched in color!
2. Have a great time!
We can’t think of a more exciting way to raise money for cancer research!

There are many ways to describe Kellie Pickler, with spunky, beautiful, talented
and charismatic just scratching the surface. But there is one word that ties them all
together and brings them to life. Kellie Pickler is real. Few people speak or sing
so transparently from their hearts. Few can bridge life and art, story and song, so
vibrantly and compellingly.
“My life is a country song,” she has said on occasion, and no one who knows
her or has watched her career evolve from her days as a breakout presence on
American Idol would argue in the least. Ove the course of three albums, hundreds
of concert appearances, and a breathtaking 2013 win on ABC’s Dancing With the
Stars, she has earned the admiration and affection of countless fans, serving as both
inspiration and role model.
Now, with the release of her latest album, her first for new label home Black River
Entertainment, she takes yet another long step forward. The project reflects her
continuing growth as an artist and as a person. It features the instrumental talents
of many of Nashville’s best musicians and songs from some of the city’s most
talented writers, as well as some she wrote herself and with co-writers including
her husband Kyle Jacobs.
She is, more than anything, a down-to-earth fan of her genre who also happens
to be one of its best interpreters, a classic country singer with a state-of-the-art
approach to life. There is also an echo of her idols in her love of taking her music
to fans, one show at a time.

MONROE CARELL JR. CHILDREN’S
HOSPITAL AT VANDERBILT
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is a leader
in pediatric care, ranked as one of the best children’s hospitals in
the nation by U.S. News & World Report and 15th in the nation
by Parents magazine. The Children’s Hospital provides 271
beds for the highest level of pediatric care and is also a top level
teaching and research facility. Children’s Hospital features Centers
of Excellence for the treatment of diabetes and congenital heart
disorders and offers services for cancer, organ and bone marrow
transplants, level 1 pediatric trauma, treatment for developmental
disorders and the highest designated level NICU in the state.

Last year Franklin 4 the Cure awarded a $120,000 discovery grant
to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for
pediatric cancer research. Discovery grants provide seed funding
for researchers to pursue bold ideas in the lab that can lead to
breakthrough discoveries in the fight against cancer. Findings from
preliminary research supported by these grants often are essential
to obtain funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and
other federal agencies that grant millions every year to support
cancer research.

1. The sponsor’s payment of the sponsorship fee (services) noted above shall be governed by the following terms:
• 100% of the total sponsorship fee is due by August 3, 2015.
• All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure of the Sponsor to comply with any payment terms will result in loss of space and the right to
participate as a sponsor of the event.
2. The Westhaven Foundation (TWF) reserves the right to restrict or remove booths/exhibits which, because of noise, method of operation, materials, or any
reason, become objectionable to the reasonable attendee. In the event of such restriction or eviction, TWF shall not be liable for any refunds, rentals, or other
exhibit expenses incurred by the Sponsor.
3. The Sponsor assumes responsibility and agrees to indemnify and defend The Westhaven Foundation, WRDA, Westhaven Partners, and Southern Land
Company, LLC, as well as their respective volunteers, employees and agents against any claims or expenses arising out of the Sponsor’s acts or omissions.
4. The Westhaven Foundation shall not be liable to the extent that it cancels all or part of the event because of causes beyond its control (e.g., severe weather.)
