or if the subject in each independent clause is different.
• To coordinate two closely related sentences without using a conjunction,
use a semicolon (;).
Correct each run-on sentence. Use commas and semicolons where needed.
1. There is a concert this weekend we want to go.
2. It’s our favorite band we have to see them!
3. Will you buy the tickets should I pick them up?
