in Markham. The Men’s team
plays until usually the first
week in November, when the

The Aurora Barbarian Rugby Club
was established in
2002 with the
merger of the Aurora RFC and the
Toronto Barbarian
RFC. We are a
community based
club who draw on
players from Aurora and surrounding areas to make
up our teams. We
are one of the Premier Clubs in Ontario. We support 3 Senior Men’s teams, 2
Senior Women’s teams, Junior Men’s
Rugby in under 14,16,18 and Junior
Women's Rugby under 15 and 18 also
Minor Rugby in the form of a under 8
program, under 10 program, and under 12 program, which are all co-ed
programs.
We are a non-profit Community based
Organization always looking for ways
of increasing the enjoyment of the
game for players and fans.

Black Sheep Support
You as a Black Sheep Supporter will help to support a non-profit rugby fund which supports rugby
in Ontario. Through the fund we will distribute
funds to the Aurora Barbarian Rugby Team, to
enhance their rugby programs as the fund sees fit.
There are 4 pillars of support we are currently
working on.1. Coaching/Player Development.2.
Junior Rugby for the Club. 3.Players Representing
Provincially and Nationally. 4. Overall club Operations, guidelines in place for Club accountability.
We want to as a fund be able to support the Aurora Barbarians as a group to make sure that a
steady stream of support is available consistently
year after year and take the club to the next level.
This will help make Aurora the premiere club in
Ontario to play for.

As a Note
Our Senior Men’s team has finished first in the
Premier Marshall Division league every year since
2006 and also has won the McCormick Cup in
2007, 2009 and last year in 2010. Let’s keep this
winning spirit. Over the years we have had many
of our members represent Ontario and Canada in
international matches around the world.
