This is a week-long camp for
14-18 year old dependent
teens of current Air Force

Reserve or Air National
Guard military members.
Teens will focus on
leadership development,
self-confidence, learn about
programs and services
available to AF dependents,
and build an appreciation
for and sense of belonging
to the AF community.
Summits also include military traditions, community
service projects, musical
performances, and environmental education classes.
Teens may only participate in one summit, either:
AFR/ANG Classic Summit
in Dahlonega , GA 12-17 Jul
15 or AFR/ANG Adventure
Summit in Estes Park, CO
11-16 Aug 15.
Interested teens must
complete the electronic

to the University of Georgia

The applications are reviewed by a panel of judges
representing the AFR, ANG
and AFSVA/SVPY. Final
selections will be announced

costs while at the summit
will be centrally funded at
no cost to the participants or
their units/installations.
Cost incurred driving the
teen to and from the airport,
baggage fees, additional
spending money for snacks/
souvenirs, and meals during
airline travel are the responsibility of the family.
The Air Force Teen Leadership Camp is a 5-day residential
program which provides youth a glimpse of what university
life is like while developing their leadership skills. Activities include team building, high/low ropes course, conflict
resolution, public speaking, and more.
The Air Force Teen Leadership Camp will be in San Antonio, TX. CONUS participants arrive in San Antonio, Texas
on Monday, 13 Jul 15 no later than 1500 and depart between
0900-1300 on Friday, 17 Jul 15. Participants driving to the
camp should arrive between 1300-1500 on Monday 13 Jul 15
and depart between 0800-1200 on Friday, 17 Jul 15.
Lodging, meals, and activity fees are centrally funded beginning with dinner on Monday, 13 Jul 15. Airfare or POV
travel costs are the responsibility of the attendee. Spending
money for other miscellaneous expenses is the responsibility
of the participant.

The applicant must meet the following requirements:
• A dependent of Active Duty Military assigned to or
living on an AF/JB installation, AF Retired Military, AF
Civilian Employees, Air National Guard or AF Reserve
who have been activated within the last 12 months
• High school students who’ve completed their freshmen
year prior to the camp and are interested in developing
leadership skills
