1. DRINK MARKERS
Make handy markers and matching
wristbands in assorted colors to help
guests find their drink at a get-together.
Supplies
Supplies listed are enough to make one
marker & wristband.
7 10” square of felt
7 Matching all-purpose thread
7 1”-diameter book ring
7 Two 2” strips of 1”-wide hook-andloop tape
7 Air-soluble fabric marker
Download the Marker and Bracelet patterns.
From the felt, cut two markers and one
wristband. Position the hook-and-loop tape
loop piece on one wristband end on the
wrong side according to the placement
mark. Edgestitch the loop piece perimeter,
and then stitch a diagonal line across the
loop piece. Repeat to attach the hook tape
to the opposite wristband end on the right
side. With wrong sides together, stitch the
markers along the curved edges, leaving
the straight edges open. Slide the book ring
through the opening.
2. HOLIDAY DOOR HANGER
Decorate the front door with a festive
leaf garland.
Supplies
7 Two 12” squares of ivory felt
7 Matching all-purpose thread
7 Air-soluble fabric marker
7 Hand sewing needle
Download the Door Hanger patterns. From
the felt, cut one stem, two bow pieces,
one bow knot and eight leaves. Transfer
the pattern markings. Fold the stem upper
edge toward the wrong side along the
foldline. Stitch ¼” from the end to create

a loop. Fold one leaf in half along the
centerline with right sides together. Stitch
the straight open edge using a ¼” seam
allowance. Repeat to stitch the remaining
leaves. Position one folded leaf along the
stem lower edge, aligning the leaf stitched
edge with the stem side. Stitch the leaf
in place along the marked stitching line.
Repeat to stitch each remaining leaf to
the stem, alternating their directions.
Fold the short ends of one bow to meet
at the center and then zigzag stitch in
place. Center the stitched bow over
the remaining bow, and then stitch the
centerline. Wrap the bow knot around the
bow center to conceal the stitching, and
then hand stitch the knot ends. Center the
bow above the uppermost leaf, and then
hand stitch the bow to the stem. Trim the
bow ends in a “V” shape.
3. NUMBERED COASTERS
Create a set of cute numbered coasters.

Supplies listed are enough to make
two coasters.
7 10” square each of light purple
& dark purple felt
7 Matching all-purpose thread
7 Air-soluble fabric marker
Download the Coaster patterns. Cut one
lower coaster and one upper coaster each
from light purple and dark purple felt.

Transfer the “1” outline to one light purple
coaster and the “2” outline to one dark
purple coaster. Cut the numbers inside the
outlines. Center the “1” coaster over the
remaining dark purple coaster with right
sides facing up. Edgestitch the perimeter,
and then edgestitch the number outline.
Repeat to construct the “2” coaster.
4. COFFEE CUP SLEEVE
Protect your hands from a hot coffee cup
with a reusable sleeve.
Supplies
7 10” square each of brown & tan felt
7 Matching all-purpose thread
Download the Coffee Cup Sleeve patterns.
Cut the front from the brown felt and the
lining from the tan felt. Position the lining
right side up on a flat work surface. Fold
the lining with right sides together so the
left end overlaps the right end by ½”.
Edgestitch the left end, and then stitch
again ¼” and ½” from the edgestitching.
Position the front wrong side up on a
flat work surface surface. Fold the front
with right sides together so the left end
overlaps the right end by ½”. Edgestitch
the left end, and then stitch again ¼” and
½” from the edgestitching. Place the lining
inside the front with wrong sides together,
aligning the edges and slightly staggering
the stitching to reduce bulk. Stitch each
edge using a ¼” seam allowance.
5. PARTY HAT
Encourage party guests to play dress-up
with whimsical hats.

7. DRAWSTRING POUCH
Package small gifts in a pretty drawstring
pouch.
Supplies
baste. Trim the tab excess. Center the
upper backing right side up over the lower
backing; pin, and then stitch the sides and
lower edge using a ¼” seam allowance.

9. EYEGLASS CASE
Stow glasses in a simple case.
Supplies
Download the Party Hat pattern. Fuse the
interfacing to the felt wrong side following
the manufacturer’s instructions. Cut out
the party hat from the felt. With right sides
together, stitch the party hat straight edge.
Finger-press open the seam. Turn the hat
right side out. Measure and cut a length of
elastic long enough for the hat to fit snugly
around the head. Stitch the elastic ends
to the hat wrong side according to the
placement marks. Position the horsehair
braid along the hat lower-edge wrong side,
abutting the ends at the hat seam; cut
away the excess braid. Zigzag stitch the
braid in place. With the right sides facing
up, position the trim along the hat lower
edge, overlapping the ends at the hat
seam by ½”; pin, and then cut away the
excess trim. Zigzag stitch the trim in place.
Hand stitch one pom-pom at the hat peak.
6. NAPKIN RINGS
Dress up a holiday table with super-speedy
napkin rings.
Supplies
Supplies listed are enough to make four
napkin rings.
7 10” square each of maroon & dark
maroon felt
7 Matching all-purpose thread
Download the Napkin Ring pattern. Cut
two maroon rings and two dark maroon
rings. Fold each ring in half widthwise with
wrong sides together. Stitch ¼” and then
⅛” from each open edge.
Download the Pouch pattern. Cut two
pouches from the pink felt. Clip the
pouches according to the marks. Fold the
sides above the clips ¼” toward the wrong
side, and then edgestitch. Fold the pouch
upper edges toward the wrong side along
the marked foldline. Stitch each pouch
along the marked stitching line to create
the casings. Align the pouches with right
sides together, and then stitch the lower
edge and sides below the clips. Turn
the bag right side out. Thread one ribbon
through each casing. Tie the ribbons
into bows, and then trim the ribbon ends
if desired.
8. HANGING PICTURE FRAME
Pin a cute picture frame to your bulletin
board and store extra photos or notes in
the pocket.

Air-soluble fabric marker
Download the Picture Frame patterns.
From the teal felt, cut out two backing
pieces. From the dark blue felt, cut one
frame and two tabs. Use the craft knife
to cut slits in the frame according to the
markings. With the right sides facing up,
center the frame over one backing. Stitch
⅛” from the frame perimeter. Fold each
tab in half widthwise. Place the remaining
backing wrong side up on a flat work
surface. Position one tab along each
backing side ½” from the upper edge.
Allow the tab folded end to extend ⅜”
beyond the backing edge to form a loop;

Download the Eyeglass Case pattern.
Cut one lower front and one back from
the red felt. Cut one upper front from
the red-orange felt. Align the upper-front
and lower-front pieces over the back
with wrong sides together; pin. Stitch the
perimeter using a ¼” seam allowance.
10. DECORATIVE BOX
Stitch a box to store odds and ends on
a desk or sewing table.
Supplies
7 10” square each of green & dark
green felt & heavyweight card stock
7 Matching all-purpose thread
Use ⅛” seam allowances.
Download the Decorative Box patterns.
From the dark green felt, cut out the box.
From the green felt and card stock, cut out
the side and bottom patches. Center one
patch on each box side, aligning the upper
edges. Stitch each patch along the sides
and upper edge. Center the bottom patch
over the box bottom, and then stitch three
sides. Align the adjacent box side edges
with wrong sides together, and then stitch.
Place the card stock pieces inside each
side patch and bottom patch; trim
if needed. Z
