Discrimination definition:
Discrimination is a means of differentiating between people or groups of
people based on perceived or real differences. In a negative context,
discrimination is any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference of one
group over another. Among other examples, discrimination can be based on a
person’s race, descent, national or ethnic origin, gender, or disabilities.
Genocide definition:
Genocide occurs when one of a series of acts is committed with the intent to
destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. The
acts include: killing, causing serious bodily or mental harm, deliberately
inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about destruction, imposing
measures intended to prevent births, and forcibly transferring children of the
group to another group.
