Spirit Team dress down day
With the holidays past and new resolutions made, let us all
recommit ourselves to excellence in education for the year
2014. To achieve this high mark, each individual must
embellish their strengths and work to improve on
weaknesses. Remain focused on your child’s education.

Plan a special time for family reading. January is National
Reading Month. Provide opportunities for your child to
share his/her reading skills with you. Share the joy of
reading with your child on a regular basis. Stay involved in
2014! To help your child with his/her studies you can:
• Set a regular place and time for homework which is
free of distractions.
• Demonstrate your interest by monitoring assignments
– look over completed work.
• Provide guidance in helping your child get organized.
• Keep in contact with your child’s teacher and work
together for your child’s success.
