payouts will be made at events. It is your responsibility to make
certain that the registration assistant marks you off as entering the
pool. The pools were posted at 11pm, on September 20.
VINEYARD PACE OF PLAY FIGURES:
Saturday Pace: We inherited over 5 hours from the general public on
Saturday, as a slow moving outing was positioned in front of us. Our
last group was clocked at 5 hours 16, and our gaps at No. 16 were
fairly tight. When you inherit poor times, there isn’t much you can
do.
Sunday Pace: We had two groups from B-Flight with terrible lag
times. However, since we clocked our final group as playing in 5
hours and 3 minutes, we opted to take the entire field off the hook,
and not penalize any groups. The Club Championships have
historically been the slowest events on the GMA Tour, and would in
the past often produce results much slower than the times posted on
Sunday. Sunday’s five hour pace wasn’t good, but was an
improvement on past year’s Club Championship figures.
