Setup Instructions
PC - Microsoft PowerPoint 2013
•Open a new PowerPoint document
•Select the “Design Tab” in the toolbar
•Select the “Slide Size” option on the “Design Tab”
•Under “Slides Sized” choose “Custom Slide Size” from the drop down list
•Under “Width” enter “56 inches”
•Under “Height” enter “31.46 inches”
MAC – Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 & PC – Microsoft PowerPoint 2003
•Open a new PowerPoint document
•Go to “File”
•Select the “Page Setup” option
•Under “Slides Sized For” choose “custom” from the drop down list
•Under “Width” enter “56 inches”
•Under “Height” enter “31.46 inches”
Minimum Font Sizes Required:
•Arial 28 or Greater: General poster text
•Arial 24 or Greater: Figure captions
•Arial 20 or Greater: References, Footnotes
