WE HAVE A WINNER!
Our 1965 Mustang was won by Suzanne Hanf and family from Pt. Pleasant,
NJ. Her husband John and her 3 sons John Henry, Justin & Jack are excited
about their Mustang and about VAMNJ. They became new Museum members.

VAMNJ received funding this year from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of
Cultural Affairs in the Department of State, through a local history program grant
administered by the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission.

Antique Auto Displays in Demand:
The Chelsea Assisted Living at Tinton Falls invited us for some summer fun. The residents
enjoyed the cars and the memories. Our drivers had a fine lunch and made new friends. A big
thank you to Tim O’Rourke, Dave DiEugenio, Missy Ippolito, Stan & Jan Drake, Ray Patnaude,
Ken Stalgaitis, Sal Ferlise, Everett Ross and Bob Becker. Also, Jim Murphy, Larry Russomanno,
Ken Clayton and Karl Schloeder from the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County who also
supported this event. The Chelsea became a Museum sponsor. We welcome them into our family.
The residents love us and the word has spread. We have presented our displays and PowerPoint
shows to Summerville Assisted Living in Manahawkin, The Rose Garden in Toms River,
Crestwood Manor in Whiting, plus the Island Heights Historical Society of Ocean County.
OUR MUSEUM ON WHEELS IS READY TO COME TO YOU

VAMNJ & THE TUCKERTON SEAPORT MUSEUM CAR SHOW
John McMullen and his wife Giselle won big trophies donated by Dave DeBore
with their beautiful 1937 Auburn Boat tail. Thank you John for bringing that
beautiful car. Thank you to Mr. Paul Hart & Renee Kennedy from the Seaport for
your outstanding cooperation. What about Lavallette?
George Downes coordinated our first Lavallette Car Show. It was a smashing
success. Thank you George and Ginger for your major contribution to the Museum.

ATLANTIC CITY WAS A BLAST!

Museum President, Tim O’Rourke, established contact with Mr. John Ciccone and Donata
Caloiero of Caesars Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City for a 1920’s Auto display. It provided
the atmosphere for the HBO series premier of “Boardwalk Empire”. Tim and Museum
Executive Director, Dave DiEugenio, thank our members for presenting their beautiful
vehicles and Caesars for outstanding cooperation during the 3-day display.

Bob Becker with his 1921 Ford Model “T” was the feature car inside the Casino
Theater. He had a wonderful time! Thank you, Bob, for bringing the beautiful “T”.
