Likit Himalayan Rock Salt is a cylindrical lick designed
to be used with the Likit Holder or Boredom Breaker.
Containing a host of beneficial minerals and completely
weatherproof, this lick is great alternative to our glucose
based Likits and is ideal for those on a restricted diet.
About Himalayan Rock Salt
Himalayan salt is harvested from the river beds and
valleys of the ancient, breath-taking Himalaya mountain
range - the largest mountain range in the world. Salt
from the Himalayan mountains is nourished by the
nutrient-rich water and soil in the area, resulting in a
host of beneficial minerals being left in the salt.
Top Tips
1. Introduce the lick to your horse slowly, by firstly
allowing them to lick the refill from your hand, then
from inside the toy. Finally hang the toy and hold
steady, they will soon get the idea.
2. Try alternating between the Salt & Glucose based
Likits and using different flavor Likits to keep things
interesting.
3. Likit Himalayan Rock Salt is ideal for horses that
consume standard Likits too quickly or for those on
restricted diets.
4. Himalayan Rock Salt is completely weatherproof so
it can be used both indoors and out.
5. If your horse is not interested in the Rock Salt then
try hanging the Likit Holder or Boredom Breaker
against a wall to reduce the challenge.
