Learning Journey
Observed By:
Carol Clynes
Observation Date: 13-09-2016 14:34:41
Observation: The children took part in a group outdoor creative activity where we explored our environment looking for
different textures and patterns to print using crayons. The children were shown to place their paper on top of the object and to
rub using a crayon to create a pattern showing good understanding of prepositions and noticing the
pattern they made. The children were interested in exploring our outdoor environment to look for
different surfaces to rub and noticed patterns on the path, wall and across the fence.
Analysis: Children followed complex instructions, shared resources and took turns throughout this activity
