A Cabaret dancing girl is crazily in love. This drives her mad and starts arriving late to work. By the while, her crazy passion leads her to become pregnant, which makes her be into trouble at work. Fed up with her, the Cabaret`s director fires the woman. Furthermore, abandoned by her lover to her fate, she doesn't find any other chance than to wander. On her own, out of money, lonely and with a belly full of life, she tries to survive using her own imagination to escape from harsh reality. Through her way she meets a street musician, the stray guy that will help her to overcome her troubles, and to whom she will establish an ambiguous relationship in between convenience, friendship and well-rounded disagreement. Thanks for her cunning attitude, she manages to count on some money to go to the gynecologist's surgery, which in fact it is revealed as a situation of bureaucrat, crazy people, apathetic on the one hand but suddenly stressed. Even so, when contradictions appear it is there where she will be back, accompanied by her friend the musician, who will provide with a delirious tone to a non-conventional birth. “We wanted to start from my own experience and from the experience of most of the mothers of the whole world, just to transform them into a comic and poetic universe, able to transmit genuine feelings of the human nature. Through this play we want to pay tribute to all the mothers- and also fathersthat have faith and enough strength to bring birth to this planet, which is huge, but in fact it is still a little rough around the edges and not a big deal. We expect with this play that all men and women, never mind their geographical origin or culture, will laugh with us about all the disadvantages you have to go through to give birth, to have a baby, adverse situations that transform us, pregnant women, in desperate, absurd human beings but always with a tender essence that protects and lights up everywhere we go through. Science says that sense of humour, as well as artistic creation are a characteristically feature of the human being. We say that humour and poetry come to be struggle tools and a whisper of Positivism and Optimistic attitude in a world where life surrenders due to the lack of food, excessive bombs and money distributed in a wrong way. A funny struggle which appeals to our most real and pure humanity.” Mummy/Mom Main Route Theatre of Vila Real Theatre of “Miguel Franco”, Leiria Theatre Club, “Póvoa de Lanhoso” Auditorium of Póvoa de Varzim Casa das Artes, “Arcos de Valdevez” Local Auditorium of Lousada Theatre of Ribeiro Conceição, Lamego Local theatre of Guarda Novo Ciclo ACERT Theatre, Tondela Cultural Association of Aradas, Aveiro Cultural Centre of Vila Das Aves
