To realise these multifunctional requirements, holes are made in regular intervals perpendicular to the surface in highly thermal insulating, polyurethane foam panels. These holes are filled at the factory with a special, highly capillary-active, mineral material. The panels are attached to the surface of the interior wall with iQFix and finished with a layer of render, iQ-Top. With a thickness of 1.0 cm iQ-Top represents the sorption layer. Property profile Remmers iQ-Therm 30, 50 or 80 are made of highly thermal insulating, rigid PUR foam panels that have holes filled with a mineral, capillary conductive filling. The rigid foam panels are used exclusively in a system. The iQTherm system is building material class B1 flammable according to DIN 4102-1. Cement Remmers iQ-Therm panels in place full surface using Remmers iQ-Fix, a hydraulic setting attachment mortar Apply iQ-Fix evenly to the level substrate and to the iQ-Therm panels with a toothed trowel in a buttering-floating procedure. Then press the iQ-Therm panels into the fresh cement bed – avoid cross joints. The use of dowels is not necessary. After iQ-Therm has been attached, the entire surface is coated with a 1.0 cm thick layer of render, iQ-Top.
