Learn golf basics, terminology, and some rules of the game.
Instruction will be on the driving range and putting green. Bring
equipment if you have it or share equipment provided by the golf
pro. Tennis shoes or golf shoes are appropriate footwear. Meet
near the Pro Shop 10 minutes prior to the first class. In the event
of rain, you will be given tokens to hit range balls at a later time.
EXTREME CHEMISTRY – Grades 3-6

Learn the science behind CSI and how crime scene investigators
crack the case. Learn about crime scene fingerprints and encrypted messages the criminals left behind. Test your investigating skills to see if you can solve a crime using science. Different
activities are conducted in morning and afternoon sessions.
SKATEOLOGY 101 – Grades K-8

Location: SK8 (Skate) Park in Farmington behind the police
station & Long Park
Study your favorite dinosaurs and their lives. Create your own
“dino-mite” projects.
Learn basics of skateboarding, safety, and skateboard maintenance from an experienced instructor. Bring your own skateboard or share with the instructor. Kids are strongly encouraged
to wear a helmet, wrist guards and elbow and knee pads. Friday
of the week will be a make-up day in case of rain earlier in the
week. Meet at the staircase on the SK8 Park side of the park.

If you like to make a mess, make things bubble and glow, this
class is for you. Create chemical reactions, a battery from every
day objects, and a scientific mess while learning science principles.
Learn basic and advanced cheerleading maneuvers in groups
based on your ability level. Instruction will include jumps, motions, cheers, chants, partner activities, and safety practices.
CAREER EXPLORERS – Ages 3-6

Location: Trap & Skeet Range, east of the MAC Field House
Learn the skills needed for trap and skeet shooting and become
familiar with gun safety techniques. Shooting equipment will be

first day of class, the classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Minimum enrollment requirements must be met to offer classes.

Wildlife Science and Math Mania -- Grades 1-6
Dates: July 16-20

An Introduction to Martial Arts – Ages 5-12

Train with a certified black belt instructor to learn martial arts
basics. Understand proper techniques for beginners and
recognizetrue martial arts character. Wear loose, cool clothing
and tennis shoes that do not kick off. Class is limited to 10
students.
Challenge of the Fittest – Ages 12 -14
Dates: July 30-August 3 ~ 9:00 a.m. – noon
Cost: $20.00 per student

Location: Fredericktown City Park located at corner of South
Main and Park Street
Learn basic skills for soccer, basketball, flag football, and
kickball. After practice of learned skills, teams will form and
compete against each other. Students should wear clothing
and shoes appropriate for these outdoor activities and bring
plenty of water daily.
Use acrylic paint to create your own masterpiece. Learn
about color mixing, shading, and design. Art supplies are
provided.
