Meet your Institutional Environmental Health Consultants
Keith Cook, REHS, CIH, MPH
Keith is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH),
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
(REHS) and manager of the Institutional
Environmental Health (IEH) program. He
started his career in Bethel Alaska and served
in three additional assignments before
returning to Alaska in 2001.
Keith has completed the IHS Institutional
Environmental Health Residency which is
comprised of one year of study at the
Uniformed Services University of the Health
Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and a one-year residency at various health care facilities in
the DC area.

Michael Box, REHS, CIH, MS
Michael is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Registered
Environmental Health Specialist (REHS). He began his career with
two internships with the Indian Health Service in Redding,
California and Shiprock, New Mexico and one with the National
Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
Michael worked 10 years with the Coast Guard in Alameda,
California and Honolulu, Hawaii before joining us in Hawaii’s
sister state - Alaska.

Katherine Hubbard, REHS, MPH
Katherine (Katie) is a Registered Environmental Health
Specialist (REHS). She began her career in the field
environmental health program at the Alaska Native Tribal
Health Consortium in 2003. Katie has also worked with the
Indian Health Service (IHS) in Santa Fe, New Mexico and
completed the IHS Institutional Environmental Health
Residency in Bethesda, Maryland. She returned to the
Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in 2014 as an
Institutional Environmental Health Consultant.
