e-Filing Components Installation Guide
The following are list of steps for you to try in order to uninstall the current components and re-install
them back. Before proceeding with the steps, open Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools, then click Clear Recent
History. Make sure the time range to clear is selected as “Everything”. After that click the “Clear Now”
button.
1. Go to Control Panel and choose Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs & Features
(Windows Vista / Windows 7).
2. Uninstall the following applications/components:i. Mozilla Firefox
ii. Java™
iii. SCAN JCE Updater
iv. EFS Components
3. Once all the applications/components has been uninstalled, please restart the computers.
4. Browse to this website, http://fstech.formis.net
5. Download the following applications/components:i. EFS Components
ii. Jre-6u21
iii. Jre-jce-v1.0
iv. Firefox 3.6.25
6. Install Mozilla Firefox and run the application first, the follow these steps:i. Go to Tools and select Options
ii. Select the Content tab and un-check the “Block Pop-Up Windows”
iii. Select the Advance tab and click on the Update sub-menu
iv. Un-check all 3 boxes you can see
v. Then click OK
7. After all the steps in number 6 has been completed, close Mozilla Firefox.
8. Install the remaining component in this order:i. Jre-6u21
ii. Jre-jce-v1.0
iii. EFS Components
9. After all has been installed, go to Control Panel and open Java.
10. At the General tab, click on Settings:i. Un-check the “Keep Temporary Files In My Computer”
ii. Then click OK
11. Go to the Update tab:i. Un-check the “Check For Updates Automatically”
ii. A window will pop-up, choose “Never Check”
iii. Click on Apply, then OK
12. Restart the computer and the configuration are finished. You may use the e-Filing via Mozilla
Firefox as usual.
After restart the computer, follow these steps:1.

Open Firefox browser.
Type 'about:config' in Firefox's address box and press enter.
Filter the list by typing 'plugin' and press enter. Lookup for 'plugin.scan.plid.all' in the list.
Double click on 'plugin.scan.plid.all' and value will change from 'true' to 'false'.
Perform another filter by 'extensions.blocklist.enabled' and double click to change the
value from 'true' to 'false'.
6. Close all the Firefox browser and open back the browser.
