EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES Volunteer to Big Sister Scholarship and Mentorship Program. This is scholarship/mentorship program that required a professional woman adopting high school girls to support, monitor and NNADI CV PAGE: 18 encourage. Essentially these girls are evaluated for their strengths and paired up with their “Big Sister” who then will guide them to success. (2010 – Present). Developed and coordinated Camp Connect, designed to encourage and inspire students to excel in a science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) discipline, and specifically in engineering specialty. Targeting 8th, 9th and 10th graders allows participants enough time in their remaining high school years to best prepare for a college engineering curriculum. July 2012 to Present. Coordinated SECME programs in UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science to increase the pool of historically under-represented, under-served, and differently-abled students who will be prepared to enter and complete post-secondary studies in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology (STEM).
