Wildfire Financial Group Welcomes Jon Dekker
Nomination Committee Report
Jonathan Dekker has joined Wildfire Financial Group, located at Wildfire
Credit Union as a financial advisor. Jon is settled in and
available to meet with individuals to evaluate their financial
situation, offer recommendations and coordinate their
investment and insurance needs.
The following persons have been nominated to stand
for election at Wildfire Credit Union’s Annual
Meeting to be held on February 25, 2017:
Board of Directors (Two Positions)
Jon joins Peter Schmidt, Vice President, Wealth Management
and Financial Advisor on the Wildfire Financial Group team.
Rounding out the team is Amber Uribe as Coordinator for Pete and Jon. All
are looking forward to serving the retirement and wealth management needs of
our members.

WKCQ Dream Makers
Brightens the Holidays
Saturday, February 25, 2017
Each year, Wildfire partners with radio
station WKCQ to feature their Dream
Makers program. Over the period of
two weeks, 10 families were featured that
truly need some help just to get by. This
year’s Dream Makers was no exception.
Wildfire provided each of the families
with a $250 gift card and the rest was up
to the wonderful people who listen each
morning. The outpouring of care and
concern for the families was heartwarming. There are ten families in our region
that had a much brighter holiday season
this year, and Wildfire was proud to play
a small part in that happiness.

Other nominations to stand for election for the Wildfire Credit
Union Board of Directors may be made in writing by petition.
Petition forms are available from the credit union office. One
percent of the Wildfire Credit Union membership (minimally
400 members) must sign the petition for nomination. Completed
petition forms must be filed with the President/CEO at the credit
union office no later than January 11, 2017.

Community Spotlight
The Shoebox Saginaw – Women to Women
Project, was
started 10
years ago
by a local
Saginaw
woman
who was
looking
for another
way to give
back to her
community. Again this year employees at
Wildfire Credit Union were able to fill shoeboxes with items purchased from contributing to
a Friday Jean Day. The items collected will be
distributed to local agencies & organizations in
Saginaw. Shoeboxes were filled with personal
items and small gifts for women in our area that
may be less fortunate than us.
