prestigious, and Mrs. Oehler is
the only person in the U.S.,
beside Mrs Shinbashi in L.A.,
who has been selected to receive
this award.
Mrs. Oehler came to the U.S. in 1959, and has been
devoting herself single-mindedly to the instruction
of Ikebana. She has been continuously spreading
Ikenobo in both private and public institutions
suc h as I kebana Inter nat ional, I kebana
International San Diego, each elementary schools,
San Diego State University, and various elementary
schools. Her pleasant personality always attracts
people and brings them together.
Ikenobo wishes her well and hopes for her further
