We’re looking forward to another exemplary year at West U Elementary! Today’s Monday Folder contains an enormous amount of information in what we call our “1st Day Packet”. Even though it may seem a little overwhelming, please take the time to read everything carefully. Please pay particular attention to the General Parent Information, Dress Code, Traffic and Parking Plan, and other important documents contained within the packet. This packet can be found on our web page in one PDF file. If you can’t find the answer to a question, please ask. A large school such as ours can be a bit intimidating for parents new to our school particularly if you came from a small private school. It’s OK to ask questions. At the time of this writing, our enrollment stands at 1,291 with the vast majority of our children living within our school zone. That’s the good news; that our community chooses our wonderful West U Elementary. We are humbled by their and your trust and will work diligently to maintain the high performance everyone has come to expect from West U. That’s it for now! I’m sure 2016‐2017 will be another great year. Have a fabulous week and year! Onward! John T. Threet, Principal Sign up to receive the Pony Express via email!
